• Don’t have the time to keep up with your issues?
  • Would love to have another staff member to share the load?
  • Stressed when you aren’t at your desk?
  • Worried about your security? Worried about your users?
  • Are your non-work activities getting interrupted by IT issues?

What if we could change all that?

Usually, for small IT shops, a new employee isn’t the best answer. The cost is high, and hard to justify.

There’s a cost effective solution to your dilemma – tools. IT is meant to be automated.

How are you tracking your workload? What do you use to show what you and your team are accomplishing every day? Notes and emails? How do you bundle that up to show the CEO when you need to justify another hire?

Did you know that most cyber security liability insurance won’t pay out if the breached systems aren’t patched up to date. Can you know everything is patched at the touch of a button? Can you run patch reports to show that you haven’t been negligent?

How’s your documentation? If the lead tech left for their dream job, how set up is your organization to continue. Or, if you are solely responsible, how many times are you reinventing the wheel rather than having checklists and documentation in place?

You probably have some alerting if a server goes down? What if the accountants drive fills up? The complaint will be that the computer is slow. The CEO’s laptop sits at 100% CPU for an hour? Same complaint. What would your life look like if you can see that alert in real time or better yet see it in advance and address it before it affect the users?

There are a lot of commercial alerting and monitoring tools. Maybe you’ve tried one. They generate a ton of noise and you miss real data because you are flooded with garbage. We’ve tuned our data collectors and we continue to tune them. To collect the real data and alerts and dump the garbage. It’s not an easy task and many organizations don’t expect it to be as challenging as it is. Meaning they implement a system, get bogged down in the noise and don’t see a benefit and either limp along with a useless implementation, or dump it because “It didn’t work”.

You can get a package of tools and services that covers your operation that includes all the IT  tech Management items like: Ticketing, reporting, and documentation as well as Technical Operations Items like monitoring, alerting, tuning, and endpoint security. Add in some supplementary Helpdesk incidents and you are set to run your IT systems like a pro.

There is bad news though, when you start monitoring your systems, you will likely find that you have way more issues than you realized. If you aren’t using monitoring and alerting in real time, you are probably behind the curve and falling further behind.
